About me.
Hi there! So happy you’ve found me. It’s hard to summarize who I am in a few short sentences, but you’ll figure that out soon enough, believe you me. For starters, I can be a little sarcastic, so don’t mind me. People’s feelings get a little too hurt a little too easily lately in my opinion, and personally, I’m sick of it. So yeah, when I say “Honest as Fudge”, that’s what I mean.
It’s all in good fun though. I’m not a mean person, quite the opposite. I have been an early childhood educator for over 26 years, I am a wife and a mother of a 5 year old son. I’m also what some may call an “older” mom. (HOW DARE THEY!) For me, being 44 in today’s world, well, it’s a little frustrating. We’ll get more in to that as we get to know each other a little better. After all, we did just meet. (And I’d like to have you come back lol!)
I’m a little opinionated, but not judgy. (New York hazard) I’ve done some pretty questionable things myself lol! I just feel like we could use a breath of fresh air in a place like the internet. Due to my personal experiences, I feel I have some wonderful advice, tips and tricks for both parents and teachers alike, well early childhood anyway😉.
So let’s loosen up a little and start being real. Grab a cuppa cawfee and tuck in!
Communication is Key.
Both parents and teachers need to realize, we are in this together. Communication is difficult the few minutes a day we actually get to speak to each other, but being on both ends, mom and teacher, I can tell you that a smooth day for your child is a successful one. We all want the children to succeed in every aspect.
